The wet film clings firmly to protect edges and will not crack, peel or become brittle. It is an exceptional choice for use on process and manufacturing equipment used in corrosive or wet environments. The wet film provides sufficient start-up lubrication to help prevent damage to bearings, cams, motors, casters and other moving parts. It contains special additives to protect soft, non-ferrous metals from discoloring or corroding. Parts treated with Duzzit 54 Short Term Corrosion Protection cum Lubricant can generally be placed into service without removing the film. It can be applied to electrical contacts and wiring without damaging electrical properties. If necessary, protective film can be easily removed with petroleum solvents.
